From March 26 to 28, 2025, esmo AG exhibited at SEMICON China—undoubtedly one of the most important semiconductor trade shows in the Asian region—together with its long-standing partner, mechatronic systemtechnik from Villach, Austria. The joint booth in Shanghai saw a steady flow of industry professionals eager to learn more about the powerful solutions offered by both companies.
The clear highlight of the booth was once again talos, esmo’s bestselling handler, now with over 180 systems deployed worldwide. In China—one of the fastest-growing markets in the global semiconductor landscape—demand for advanced handling solutions such as talos is rising rapidly. This trend is paralleled by a continued strong uptake in manipulator sales.
But interest extended well beyond talos: esmo’s other key product lines, especially manipulators and integrated docking & interfacing solutions, also attracted considerable attention. The demand for complete solutions from a single source is unmistakable—a trend that esmo is ideally positioned to meet with its holistic approach to test environment technology.
A special highlight was the visit of an international team from esmo’s Docking & Interfacing development departments. While SEMICON China was taking place, a global engineering workshop was held at esmo’s Shanghai branch, bringing together colleagues from Germany, Tunisia, Singapore, and China. Naturally, the team used the opportunity to visit the booth—not only to witness firsthand the industry’s interest in their joint developments but also to deepen their understanding of the Chinese market.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all visitors and to the entire esmo China team for their dedication and excellent coordination throughout this successful event.
