Ten years of commitment to the IHK Ausbildungsscouts project

esmo AG recognised for ten years of commitment in the IHK Ausbildungsscouts project

In March 2026, esmo AG received a certificate from the Bavarian Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHK). The certificate recognises esmo AG’s long-standing commitment as a supporting company in the IHK Ausbildungsscouts project.

As part of the project, apprentices visit school classes and inform students about the opportunities offered by dual vocational training. As Ausbildungsscouts, they share their personal experiences, answer questions and provide first-hand insights into their occupations.

At esmo, the scouts introduce the apprenticeships of industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician and technical product designer. They also provide insights into selected activities in development, design engineering, manufacturing, assembly, automation and service.

Some of esmo’s current apprentices first learned about the company through the programme and are now active as Ausbildungsscouts themselves. By sharing their own experiences, they help make technical apprenticeships more tangible for students.

For esmo, the project is an important part of career orientation and of engaging with young people. Direct conversations with apprentices provide an authentic insight into vocational training and career opportunities at an industrial company.

esmo AG would like to thank all current and former Ausbildungsscouts for their commitment, as well as Florian Zoßeder and Georg Fischbacher for supporting the programme over many years.
