TestConX is the world's premier event for test engineering and operations dedicated to providing a forum for the latest information on a broad range of topics related to electronic test. Focused on "connecting electronic test professionals to solutions", the technical program – consisting of workshops and an exhibition – provides practical content that is immediately useful.

As one of the 50 international exhibitors, esmo semicon – represented by esmo USA Vice President Bert Bustamante – attended this year's TestConX, taking place at the Hilton Phoenix East/Mesa, in Mesa, Arizona, USA, from 3 to 6 March 2019.

Hand test automation with thermo stream –

The esmo semicon talos – next generation is an engineering handling solution with an inhouse-developed, high-performance temperature system for fully automated testing, lab characterization, sorting and re-sorting of small- and micro-range series and rejects as well as measuring without any external equipment for temperature control. It furthermore offers high flexibility by its employment of standard productions test equipment. The talos platform, basing on a 4-axis portal, may be adapted to a virtually unlimited variety of customer demands and modular system configurations as per individual requirements.

Semi -automation of board access and board locking during final test –

The esmo semicon dib-changing system is a docking solution for production, equipped with an automated board locking functionality for full contact force compensation.

It facilitates a partially automated, quick and easy board change (in less than one minute) in the final test sector without any of the conventional time-consuming undocking/docking procedures.

Aside from its compatibility with a great variety of test head solutions, it offers highest repeatability due to statically defined test head positioning, and single sequence operations for docking and undocking processes.
