The esmo company (esmo AG), founded in 2001 by Andreas Widhammer and his five business partners, expanded within a very short period of time to various industry sectors – esmo semicon (manipulators, docking + interfacing products, system integration, handling + automation systems for the international semiconductor industry), esmo automation (plant engineering, system integration + automation technology), and flextos GmbH (special purpose machines + tools for the construction industry) –, and consequently developed into an internationally operating group of companies which has sustainably established itself as a competent, reliable, and strong partner for its global customer base.
After 20 years of management, Mr Andreas Widhammer is now handing over the reins to his long-standing Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Mr Andreas Rothstein, who – as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – together with Dr Mike Mattner (Managing Director of AIT GmbH and previously Chairman of the esmo Supervisory Board) – as the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) – will steer the fortunes of the esmo group of companies as of 1 April 2021, and carry on its story of success.
The office of Chairman of the Supervisory Board will be assumed by Mr Kai Hoe Tan, CEO and President of Accuron Technologies Ltd.
