Globally networked, globally successful

Lord Mayor of the City of Rosenheim visiting esmo group of companies

Last week, Andreas Rothstein, CEO of the esmo group of companies, was pleased to welcome the Lord Mayor of the city of Rosenheim, Andreas Maerz, on the occasion of his company visit to esmo.

In his company presentation, Andreas Rothstein explained the development of the company, which was founded in 2001, its economic development as well as its expansion into various industry sectors:

For 20 years now, the Rosenheim-based esmo group of companies has been operating its business units esmo semicon (manipulators, docking + interfacing products, system integration, handling + automation systems for the international semiconductor industry), esmo automation (plant engineering, system integration + automation technology), and flextos GmbH (special purpose machines + tools for the construction industry). With its subsidiaries in Germany, USA, Singapore, and China, the globally represented esmo group of companies is thus constantly and sustainably expanding its worldwide customer base.

"With the development of a modularly configurable automation cell, the esmo automation UniCell , which may be designed as a stand-alone machine or as an integration solution, we proactively responded several years ago already to the then emerging trends of digitalization and automation, and are steadily expanding our global market presence in this area. We have also established ourselves in a leading international position in the notoriously highly volatile semiconductor industry with the development and production of technologically sophisticated test equipment and handling systems, such as the esmo semicon talos device handler – as such, Rosenheim could well be described as another center of the semiconductor industry," explains CEO Andreas Rothstein.

In support of its ongoing technological development and the continuous expansion of its business areas, the esmo group is always looking for young potentials, thus wholeheartedly assuming social responsibility as well as committing to and investing in the promotion of young talents at the same time.

Subsequent to the company presentation in the conference room, CEO Andreas Rothstein invited his guest to a tour of the company in order to substantiate and clarify the previously explained theoretical information with the corresponding real-life examples from everyday operational practice.

Lord Mayor Andreas Maerz was visibly impressed to learn that Rosenheim was home to one of the leading enterprises in the international semiconductor industry – a fact of which he had previously been unaware.

CEO Andreas Rothstein, on behalf of his team and staff at esmo, would like to thank Lord Mayor Andreas Maerz for his visit and his active interest in the company, and is looking forward to continuing this positive cooperation in the future.
