esmo trainees' field trip 2018

German Museum in Munich + High Ropes Course in Tegernsee

The first destination of the sixteen esmo group trainees, accompanied by training manager Florian Zosseder and training supervisor Georg Fischbacher, was the German Museum in Munich, Germany, where a guided tour, individually attuned to their professional background, was on the agenda: interesting facts, figures, and information on the origins of the early metal processing industry and machine tools to shipbuilding and power machines.

The young visitors showed particular interest in the development of the machines familiar to them from their everyday professional lives from the end of the 18th century until today.

After a leisurely stop in the beer garden of the Hofolding country inn and a tasty lunch, the group was well-strengthened to head for their second destination, the high ropes course in Tegernsee, Germany.

The fifteen trainees and their senior colleagues had a great time and lots of fun demonstrating their sporting skills. Without any hesitation they also seized the opportunity to approach their personal limits with courage and endurance.

Conclusion of the day: A successful trip, a great time.
